A multilevel iterative method for solving electro-elastic frictional contact problems

摘要:

In this talk, we present a multilevel iterative method for solving electro-elastic frictional contact problems. In this method, we firstly introduce the Lagrange multipliers and establish an equivalent weak formulation for the electro-elastic frictional contact problem. Then, by using an approximation of the Clarke subdifferential, we propose a finite element discrete scheme which leads to an algebra system. Finally, we employ an inexact Uzawa type iterative method to solve these systems, and a multilevel iteration technique to accelerate the convergence of the iteration. Several numerical experiments are conducted to show the performance of the proposed method.
